I’m a thought leader and evangelist whose job it is to help organizations reengineer the way they create, manage, and deliver content to those who need it. I run conferences, give speeches, write papers and articles, and provide advice to companies selling to focus on content to engage potential buyers leading with their solutions.
2. What motivated you to use ConnectUp?
I am psyched to hear about ConnectUp. When I heard about it, I thought it was a brilliant idea! But primarily, ConnectUp can benefit from some good ol’ fashion word-of-mouth: I know others who’d think it is equally amazing.
3. How has using ConnectUp impacted your business? Or your ability to connect and build stronger business and personal relationships?
As a thought leader in the content strategy and content marketing arena, I am called upon to write articles, give presentations about tools and technologies, and lead conference sessions on best practices. ConnectUp is very useful to engage potential attendees and customers, in a personal, direct way that does not feel like spamming email marketing.
Recently, I’m promoting a local conference in San Jose, CA and ConnectUp allows me to engage directly with my LinkedIn connections in the Bay area to introduce these folks to the event.
